On Friday, December 30th I spent the day exploring Ventimiglia, Italy, the quintessential quaint Italian town. It was one of the coolest towns I’ve seen in a while. I enjoyed the people, the food, the sights, the vibe, and everything else about this hidden gem.
Museo Archeologico
In one of the museums I was in yesterday, the “Museo Archeologico”, I learned of so many people who lived between A.D. 100 to 500 who died in their twenties. Being that I’m currently thirty-three years old, I felt grateful to be born in this period of human history, as the life expectancy was much shorter in previous time periods.
Right now is the very best time to be alive in all of human history.
Stopping in Monaco
I stopped in Monaco, and it was my first time in that country. Monaco is where they have the Grand Prix. I can now add that to my list of countries visited as I continue on my journey to see all 196 countries in the world.
Nice, France and the Coastline of the Mediterranean Sea
I also have been spending a lot of time in Nice, France these past several days. I find it fascinating how you can travel fifteen miles from Nice to Ventimiglia and you go from everyone speaking French to everyone speaking Italian. The cultures here in Europe are so close by yet so distinct. The coastline of the Mediterranean Sea has so much to offer.
I’m a traveler at heart and I’m experiencing the south of France and the west of Italy as stunningly beautiful.
One of the best things you will ever do is travel the world.
